Companies have announced the follow-up analysis and the global market forecast for sales of each of the five largest companies in terms of market share in notebook PCs next year, 2009. HP, the largest producers of notebook computers worldwide, estimated sales for the next year to 40 million units and a difference of 10 million notebook from the nearest competitors, Acer, which was forecast to sell 30 million units.
Dell finished third with expectations for sales of notebooks to reach 22 million units and then by Toshiba with 20 million units and finally came Asus, which expects to reach shipments over the next year to 15 million portable computers, including 7-8 million computers EeePC.
