International Telecommunication Union competent communications arm of the United Nations on Thursday announced that it had agreed on “a new solution for mobile phones, based on the shipper and one effective use of energy, and suitable for all types of phones.”
According to a statement issued by the European mobile users will benefit from solving “the Charger destruction,” which allows the new use the same charger for all mobile phones regardless of future product or model.
A spokesman for the Union “Some manufacturers have already started to put the complete shipping solution in their devices.”
The Union hopes to help the shipper destruction in reducing waste by reducing the number of chargers that produce and then disposed of with the purchase of a new mobile phone.
In June, agreed last major mobile phone companies like Nokia and Sony Ericsson and other industry giants to support the harmonization of cell phone chargers at the EU level.
